Thesis
Trust in an AI product comes from visible structure. The brand should communicate orientation, not magic.
The identity had to avoid the crowded AI visual language while still making the product feel intelligent, fast, and technically credible.
Constraints
Avoid purple-blue gradients, sparkles, generic orbit marks, and empty automation claims.
Create an identity that works across app chrome, decks, social cards, and founder sales material.
Make the system expressive without requiring constant custom illustration.
Product and brand direction
01
A reduced compass-grid motif gives the identity a strategic metaphor without becoming literal.
02
Muted green carries guidance and approval while paper neutrals keep the brand out of default AI territory.
03
Product UI, mark construction, and campaign frames are shown as one connected system.
Key decisions
01
Moved from decorative AI atmosphere to a directional identity based on grid, route, and signal.
02
Used brand boards as product artifacts rather than separate moodboard decoration.
03
Designed application examples for interface headers, launch slides, and social announcement crops.
Outcome without invented metrics
01
A brand case study that demonstrates strategy, restraint, and application range.
02
A reusable visual system that can scale from product UI to investor narrative.
03
A clear example of how Chase can move from positioning to identity to interface execution.
Next case
